Minutes of the Town Projects Meeting held on 3 rd September 2010 in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, Windmill Lane, Northam at 10.00am

1009/288 Chairman's announcements

The Chairman asked that Councillors advise where additional Christmas trees should be erected this year and that the newsletter should be on the agenda for the next Town Projects meeting.

It was resolved to confirm and sign the minutes as a true record of the meeting.

No items have been received.

1009/294 To consider Street Cleaning

It was resolved to consider this item with the next minute.

1009/295 To consider update on appointment of maintenance staff

It was resolved to place advertisements with a closing date of 23 rd September 2010. Street cleaning will be included.

1009/296 To consider Seagate Car Park/Blackies, grass cutting

It was resolved to have a further cut in September and check on need for October, with some wild flower seeding in the spring.

1009/297 To consider update on Northam Hall

The Hall work is completed; consideration will need to be given to crockery etc for the kitchen, work on the hedge needs doing in October and plans prepared for an official opening possibly in conjunction with Christmas festivities.

1009/298 To consider an update on Burrough Farm

It was resolved to obtain quotes for fencing, hedging and work to finish the field project.
