Would question overlooking problems. The planning notice has been sited on the opposite side of the road, wrapped around a street light column and is not easy to read and not evident that it applies to this plot of land.

1138/07 Proposed demolition of existing dwelling and construction of 11 dwellings - Four Winds, Cornborough Road, Westward Ho! – RESOLVED - Recommend Refusal. Out of character for the area. Would result in the loss of a number of trees with Tree Preservation Orders for which an independent survey is required. Would result in further increases in traffic, particularly on Buckleigh Road. Also the density is too great and there are problems with over-looking. Three storey properties are out of keeping with the area and in view of the concerns being raised with regard to sewerage and highways it is considered that an environmental impact assessment is required.

The Town Clerk advised that an Enforcement Notice had been issued with regard to 6 Polywell and the applicant had appealed. It was RESOLVED to ensure that the Planning Inspector was made aware of the Town Council's objections to this development.
