Minutes The minutes of the meeting of the Town Council’s Planning/Licensing Committee held 27th March 2007 were approved and signed. Councillor Tisdale made the following statement:- “As both a Town and District Councillor I wish to make it clear that I will reconsider the matter(s) at the District level, taking into account all relevant evidence and representations at the District Council’s Plans committee”. (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) 0297/07 Proposed variation of condition to allow 2-month holiday occupancy -13 Lenwood Country Club – RESOLVED - Recommend approval. (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) 0326/07 Proposed replacement windows on front elevation (casement to sash cord). Riverside, 4 Marine Parade, Appledore – RESOLVED - Recommend approval. (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) 0337/07 Proposed conservatory - 14 Kenwith Road, Raleigh – RESOLVED – (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) 0340/07 Proposed orangery, 28 Bude Street, Appledore – RESOLVED - (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) 0347/07 Proposed two-storey extension to the side of the property. ‘Avalon’ 74 Bay View Road, Northam – RESOLVED - Recommend approval (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) 0359/07 Proposed replacement of wooden summerhouse with stone built one - (Vote: 7 For 1 abst) 3. Proposed radio base station at Appledore Football Club Members considered a letter from the Chartered Surveyors acting for O2 (UK) Ltd who are seeking to establish a radio base station at the football club in Churchill Way, Appledore. Comments were made to the effect that this was on the edge of the Biosphere and Coastal Preservation Area. Members RESOLVED to advise O2 that the Council would await the planning application before commenting. They would expect any application to totally justify the use of the site. (Vote: Unanimous)
