The minutes of the meeting of the Town Council's Planning/Licensing Committee held 17 th January 2007 were approved and signed.

2571/06 Proposed change of use from residential home for the elderly to 1 residential unit. Appledore House, Meeting Street , Appledore – RESOLVED - Recommend approval.

2639/06 Proposed installation of velux windows, French doors with balcony, rear balcony deck, replacement windows and doors to front garden room. 7 Mount Raleigh Avenue – RESOLVED – Recommend approval. Trust that balcony deck will not cause overlooking problems.

2661/06 Proposed internal alterations and conversion of roof space to living accommodation. 14 Hillcliff Terrace, Irsha Street , Appledore – RESOLVED - Recommend approval.

2631/06 Proposed 4 bedroomed house with garage and off road parking Garden - site adjacent to Glenside , First Raleigh – RESOLVED - Recommend Refusal because of the importance of the area. The woodland is important and the townscape is of importance. The proposal goes against the parish plan. The Council would like to see a tree preservation order on this woodland. Concerned that some trees may have been felled and work possibly commenced.
