The minutes of the meeting of the Town Council’s Planning/Licensing Committee held 28 February 2006 were approved and signed.

2473/05 Proposed first floor extension over existing garage to provide separate unit of accommodation, new conservatory to rear of existing dwelling - Wood End, Mount Raleigh – RESOLVED - Recommend approval but needs to be in keeping with the style of the existing building. (Vote: Unanimous) 0011/06 Proposed outline application for residential development comprising 6 dwellings. Land adjoining High Stacks, Raleigh Hill – RESOLVED - Recommend refusal. This is not sympathetic infilling but inappropriate development. In the forthcoming Parish Plan this area is designated as a landscape area. (Vote: Unanimous)
0228/06 Proposed conservatory - Langleys - Bay View Road – RESOLVED –Recommend approval.

Cllr Eastman declared a personal interest in this application and did not vote.

This proposal is in the conservation area of Northam and Council are concerned about an old stone wall which could be pulled down and also concerned about over-looking of neighbour’s garden.
