1. Minutes
The minutes of the meeting of the Town Council to consider planning applications and allied matters held 16th March 2005 were approved and signed.

2. Planning applications
Cllr Sturges declared an interest and left the meeting. Cllr Davies declared an interest and did not vote.
0106/05 Proposed installation of white upvc windows. Flat 2, Grosvenor House, Goodwood Park Road – RESOLVED - Recommend approval.

0368/05 Proposed display new company logo on end of dock enclosure Appledore Shipbuilders, Bidna Yard – RESOLVED - Recommend approval.

0429/05 Proposed extension to provide 2 additional bedrooms, ground floor family room and enlarge double garage. 60 Bay View Road – RESOLVED - Recommend approval.

0492/05 Proposed outline application for a dwelling. Land adjacent to The Elms, Sandymere Road – RESOLVED - Recommend approval subject to access arrangements being satisfactory.

0510/05 Proposed change of use from retail to food take-away 2 The Square, Northam – RESOLVED - The Council is concerned about traffic congestion in Northam Square with the existing take-aways and it is thought this could increase the problem.
(Vote: Unanimous) 0538/05 Proposed resubmission of an outline application for a single dwelling. Land adjacent to 45 Atlantic Way – RESOLVED – Recommend approval provided the previous objections are satisfactorily dealt with.

3. Westward Ho! Potwalloping Festival
Members
considered a further letter from the publicity officer of the above festival
concerning funding of door stewards. It was RESOLVED to advise Mrs Thorpe
that she should be speaking to the District Council as the Licensing
Authority, as the Police only give recommendations. The Town Clerk to write
and advise her to contact

The Beachcomber Café, 34 Nelson Road, Westward Ho! – RESOLVED – No objection.
