It was resolved to agree the Agenda as published 1004/17 To confirm and sign the minutes of the Planning meeting held 30 th March 2010 It was resolved with no votes to the contrary to confirm and sign the minutes of the meeting as a correct record: 1004/18 Torridge District Council Planning Applications: Torridge District Council, the determining Authority, has asked for comments from this Town Council on the following planning applications: - 1/0189/2010/FUL Proposal: Construction of wooden garden shed AMENDED PLAN Location: Matusadonna, The Tors, Gainsborough Road, Westward Ho! Applicant: Mrs Kathy Murdoch It was resolved unanimously to recommend to Torridge District Council that this application be APPROVED subject to a condition being imposed that the use of the building be restricted to that of a garden shed. 1/0197/2010/FUL Proposal: Double garage on site of existing double garage Location: Levanta, Stanwell Hill, Westward Ho! Applicant: Mrs Geraldine Ford It was resolved with one abstension to recommend to Torridge District Council that this application be APPROVED 1/0211/2010/FUL Proposal: Alterations including a new entrance and the replacement of windows, doors and roof Location: ACSA Social Club and the Appledore Hall, New Quay Street, Appledore Applicant: Appledore Community Hall Cllrs Osborne and Edwards declared prejudicial interests as trustees and took no part in the discussion or vote It was resolved unanimously to recommend to Torridge District Council that this application be APPROVED. 1/0231/2010/LBC Proposal: Internal modifications to the main bar area – including the resiting of the servery area and the re-opening of a doorway Location: Royal Hotel, Bude Street, Appledore Applicant: Mr M Davis It was resolved unanimously to recommend to Torridge District Council that this application be APPROVED 1/0255/2010/FUL Proposal: Construction of single dwelling and associated site works Location: Land at Mount Raleigh, Orchard Hill Applicant: Mr A A Dunn It was resolved unanimously to recommend to Torridge District Council that this application be REFUSED on the grounds of overdevelopment and inappropriate development.
