0941/08 Proposed redevelopment to provide 12 flats, 2 shops, 2 restaurants, and car parking - provison of Tourist Information Centre, Office and 2 flats with 2 fabric structures, The Buccaneer, Bath Hotel Road, Westward Ho! – RESOLVED - Recommend approval

1295/08 Proposed Removal of existing dwelling, construction of new residential care home - Amended Plans - 45/47 Atlantic Way, Westward Ho! - RESOLVED - Recommend refusal. The Council's concerns expressed in the previous application have not been sufficiently addressed. The proposal is still too large.

0205/09 Proposed alterations and extension to dwelling - Puffins, Torridge Road - Re-submission of application no 0147/08 - RESOLVED - Recommend refusal. Council remains concerned about the impact on Victoria Crescent. No drawings are supplied in order to assess how the proposal affects the neighbours. There is a need to be able to see the proposal from every angle.

3. Re-development of Appledore Methodist Church Site

Cllr Osborne reported that he had been given to understand by the Church Authorities that they were looking to convert the Church building into two dwellings but that no decision had been made with regard to the remainder of the property.

Cllr Eastman reported that the Appledore Community Land Trust had written to the Church Authorities expressing an interest.
