Minutes of the Finance Committee held on Tuesday 30 th November 2010 at the Council Chamber, Windmill Lane, Northam at 10.30 am

1011/472 Declarations of interest
Members were reminded that all interests should be declared prior to the item being discussed.
1011/473 To agree the agenda as published
It was resolved to agree the agenda as published
1011/474 To confirm and sign the minutes of the meeting held 21 st October 2010 as a correct record
It was resolved to confirm and sign the minutes of the meeting as a correct record after recording apologies from Cllr Hames.
1011/475 To consider Manor Passes
It was resolved to recommend to Full Council that a temporary person be employed to assist in issuing the Manor Passes next year and that applications for passes can be made from 1 st March 2011 and will be issued from 1 st April 2011. It was further resolved to recommend to Full Council that separate banking arrangements and accounting records be kept in future regarding Northam Burrows.
1011/476 To consider the grant applications
It was resolved to make grants totalling £6900 to the groups on the attached list. Recipients will be invited to a grants presentation evening and will be asked to give brief details of how their grant will be spent.
1011/477 To consider the budget for 2011-12
The Clerk presented figures of anticipated expenditure and income and required reserves to the meeting and it was resolved to hold a meeting before the next Full Council Meeting in order to prepare recommendations for Full Council on 15 th December as to the proposed precept.
